Description: This simulation-based curriculum allows learners who do not have access to a wet lab to learn core concepts and skills in forensic DNA Fingerprinting, including restrictive enzymes and electrophoresis. The NetLogo simulations show dynamic visualizations of the underlying mechanisms of each process. The crime scene scenario is highly motivating for the learners.
